Caimite (Green)

Product Details

Caimite trees grow best in full sunlight, reaching heights of up to 15 metres and bear fruits in about 3 years. Caimite trees can be planted year-round but expect a short window of harvest, usually from February to April. The fruit is round and smooth, similar to an apple. The skin is a yellowish-green colour and the pulp is soft, creamy/milky and jelly-like with star-shaped seeds. Caimite fruits are aromatic and have a tropical sweet flavour.
