The purple false eranthemum can grow upright to 1.5 metres high and 80 centimetres wide. This plant prefers full sunlight to partial shade and is easy to maintain. It can be planted throughout the year in moist, well-drained soils. It is a colorful, erect, woody, moderately fast-growing shrub with an attractive crown of waxy, broad, pointed, variegated leaves in a combination of different shades of green suffused with purple and silver, and regularly produces small clusters of pink flowers. Their beautifully patterned leaves and elegant flowers make it an outstanding addition as a houseplant or outdoors in your landscape.
