The red ginger lily plant can beautify your garden, landscape and make lovely floral arrangements. This ornamental can be planted throughout the year and grows up to 90 centimetres wide and 4 metres high. From within the leaves, the plant produces a thick, cane-like stalk and a 15 – 30 centimetres cone-like inflorescence of bright red flower bracts which bloom with tiny white flowers. This plant usually blooms in 2 – 3 years. They thrive best in partial or direct sunlight and moist, well-drained soils.
