Product Details

Melongene grows as a shrub-like plant to about 1.5 – 2 metres tall and can be harvested in 10 weeks. It can be grown throughout the year; however good drainage is important to limit problems with diseases. Plants grow better in well-tilled soils and full sunlight. One plant can yield 1.8 to 2.2 kilograms of melongene. The plant produces edible fruits that are used to make cooked vegetable dishes.
