Mussaenda (Light Pink)

Product Details

Mussaenda philippica, also known as the ‘Queen of Philippines’, can be grown in parks, gardens, along roadsides and highways. This shrub can grow 2 – 3 metres high and just as wide. It can be planted year-round in well-drained soil, flowering best in full sunlight. The mussaenda variety was named after the Queen of Thailand to commemorate her first visit to the Philippines in the 1970s. This variety produces small, yellow flowers and large, ovate, leaf-like bracts that are pale pink in colour. This year-round showy display of colour often attracts many bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
