Mussaenda (Pink)

Product Details

The ‘Dona Luz’ pink mussaenda was named after the seventh first lady of the Philippines. This shrub can grow 2 – 3 metres high and just as wide. It can be planted year-round in well-drained soil, flowering best in full sunlight. This variety produces small, yellow flowers and large, ovate, leaf-like bracts that are salmon-pink in colour. The bracts make a beautiful contrast against the medium-green leaves. This year-round showy display of colour often attracts many bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. The pink mussaenda can be used in landscaping or planted in parks and gardens to beautify the surroundings.
