Peewah fruits are small like a plum and looks like a baby coconut. The peewah tree grows to a height of 20 metres and requires full sunlight with well-drained soils. Plants are fairly drought tolerant and can be planted throughout the year. The fruit can be harvested in 2 – 3 years after planting and are produced in clusters which are bright red, yellow or orange in colour when ripe.
