Rambutan

Product Details

The rambutan tree grows best in full sunlight and well-drained soils. It can reach a height of 12 – 20 metres and bears from 3 years after planting. The fruit is reddish and covered with fleshy, pliable spines. The flesh is translucent, whitish or very pale pink, with a sweet flavour very reminiscent of grapes. The peeled fruits can be eaten raw or cooked.
